This sinus filter is an option for variable speed drives of Altivar range. Its rated current is equal to 400A. It is used as an output filter (between drive output and motor) and enables your variable speed drive to run with motor cables longer than the maximum permitted lengths. Its protection index is IP00. It weighs 190kg. It is used for applications requiring long cable runs, motors connected in parallel, submersible pumps sensitive to dv/dt, an intermediate transformer between the drive and the motor.
