This smart communication module for Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers is designed to provide 1 CANopen master access to the controllers. TMSCO1 smart communication module integrates M262 logic/motion controllers in CANopen architectures for distributing I/O as close to sensors and actuators as possible, and to communicate with devices (variable speed drives, servo drives). It figures one CANopen port for CANopen master communication. The link can be configured between 20kbps and 1Mbps and supports up to 63 slaves. The CANopen configurator is integrated in the EcoStruxure Machine Expert software. Modicon M262 are logic/motion controllers with embedded cloud connectivity, figuring cybersecurity capabilities, supporting monitoring, analytics and predictive maintenance. It is possible to connect one CANopen smart communication modules on a controller, assembled by simple interlocking on the left-hand side of the controller. The power supply is embedded on the smart communication bus. It measures 30mm width, 88mm depth, and 100mm height. It weighs 0.150kg.
