This smart communication module for Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers is designed to provide 4 additional Ethernet accesses to the controllers. TMSES4 smart communication module benefits from cloud apps, analytics and services with EcoStruxure Machine Advisor, allows connection to other Schneider or third-party cloud platforms with MQTT and HTTP protocols, JSON and TLS encryption. It embeds 4 Ethernet based networks providing services such as Ethernet/IP adapter, DHCP client, IEC VAR ACCESS, Modbus TCP server, SNMP and FTP client/server, SQL client, send/receive email from controller (TCP/UDP library), Web server. Modicon M262 are logic/motion controllers with embedded cloud connectivity, figuring cybersecurity capabilities, supporting monitoring, analytics and predictive maintenance. TMS4 smart communication module figures self speed adaptation (10mbps, 100mbps, 1000mbps), Half or full duplex service, and autocrossing (MDIO). It is possible to connect up to three Ethernet smart communication modules on a controller, assembled by simple interlocking on the left-hand side of the controller. The power supply is embedded on the smart communication bus. It measures 60mm width, 88mm depth, and 100mm height. It weighs 0.403kg. Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers have applications (food & beverage, packaging, material handling, construction cranes, semiconductor manufacturing) in machinery requiring integrated IIoT connectivity or encrypted communication. This smart communication module is certified with CE, cULus HazLoc, RCM, EAC, Achilles L2, EU RO Mutual, and conform to standards UL 61010-1, UL 61010-2-201, CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1/No. 61010-2-201/No. 213, ANSI/ISA 12-12-01, EN 61131-2. This smart communication module is compatible with Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers. It is configured with EcoStruxure Machine Expert software. TMSES4 smart communication module installs on 35mm DIN rail with Clip-on locks. Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers are the IIoT-ready controllers for performance machines. Modicon M262 logic/motion controllers embed Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) protocols and encryption to provide direct cloud connectivity & digital services.
