Description
This product is part of the Preventa XPS MP, XPS MC, XPS MCM range, an offer of safety controllers. The safe relay output module provides 4 outputs and 8 solid state at 125mA (diagnostics) discrete outputs. It is an output module with a rated supply voltage of 24V DC and a maximum power dissipation of 3W. The safe relay modules type XPSMCMER0004 use guided contact safety relays, each of which provides two N.O. contacts and one N.C. contact in addition to the N.C. feedback contact. This safe relay output expansion module figures LEDs on its front face, displaying the status (power supply, run, internal or external errors, inputs status, restart signal, output channels). It is furnished with spring clamp terminals, removable terminal block for electrical connection. It offers long electrical life with electrical durability of about 20 million operating cycles. It is an IP20 rated product. Its dimensions are 22.5mm (Width) x 114.5mm (Depth) x 99mm (Height). It weighs 0.33kg. It is ideal for monitoring safety functions such as emergency stop, guard monitoring, perimeter guarding, position monitoring, speed monitoring and enabling movement. This product is certified by CULus, RCM and TUV. It meets EN/ISO 13849-1, EN/IEC 61508, EN/IEC 61800-5-1 and IEC 62061 standards. Compatible accessory for safe relay output module is a memory card. It supports Omega 35mm DIN rail mount. Safe expansion modules connected with the backplane expansion connectors is not important, the configuration automatically recognizes the architecture based on the module addressing. Safe communication expansion modules are used in order to create safe decentralized islands (cabinets), they are connected in a line or tree configuration.
