Description

HVI Conductor (high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor) in the supporting tube for maintaining the separation distance from electrically conductive parts as per DIN EN 62305-3 (VDE 0185-305-3) to prevent dangerous flashovers between parts of the external lightning protection and internal conductive parts (electrical installation, pipelines, etc.). To prevent creeping discharge, the HVI Conductor features a special outer sheath which allows high lightning impulse voltages to be discharged to a reference potential. HVI Conductor design (grey) with internal sealing end and EB spring element in the supporting tube (length 3,200 mm) with air-termination rod (D22 / 16 / 10 mm, length 2,500 mm), earth connection element and tripod. Equivalent separation distance s ≤ 75 cm (in air); s ≤ 150 cm (solid material).
