Description
The VF299W is a general purpose, large butterfly valve with an undercut disc for low actuator torque. The valve is used as an isolation valve or a control valve, specially designed and tailored to HVAC markets need. The wafer type valve body is polyester coated for excellent corrosion resistance. The valve is tolerant against moderate levels of fluid contamination. Optimised seat and disc design for two torque operation, extending product life and minimizing actuator size. Valve size: DN500, Flange, Flow capacity, Kvs: 19212 m³/h. Constructed and flanged to PN10 and PN16 pressure classes. ΔPm of maximum 350 Kpa. EPDM seals provide a working temperature range of -29 °C to + 121 °C, and a tight closing of the butterfly valve with the maximum close-of pressure. Recommended range for modulating control up to 70% The valve is manufatured in accordance with conformity assessment procedure: PED 97/23/EC. Category III.
